Depression counseling · Myrtle Beach, SCFor the flat, heavy weeks.

When getting through the day takes everything you've got, the last thing you need is open-ended talk with no direction. Counseling that works on how you think and what you do, not just how you feel about it.

What it looks like

We start where you are. Together we name something to aim at, often small at first: a morning routine that holds, a call you've been avoiding, one thing that used to bring you joy. Then we build from there.

I'm direct and I'm warm. You'll know what each session is for and how we'll know it's working.

Sessions

Sessions are 50 minutes, in person in the Socastee area of Myrtle Beach or online anywhere in South Carolina, in English or Russian.

If you are thinking about suicide or are in crisis, call or text 988 now. It's free and open every hour of every day.

Questions

What people ask about depression counseling.

How do I know if it's depression or just a rough patch?
You don't have to know before you call. Tell me what's going on and I'll help you make sense of it, and be honest about what would help.
Do you prescribe medication?
No. I'm a licensed clinical social worker, not a prescriber. If medication might help, I'll say so and you can talk with your doctor.
Can we meet online?
Yes, anywhere in South Carolina.
