1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. Sites also use a similar feature called local storage. Both stay on your own device.

2. What this site stores on your device

• Display setting (ytw-theme, local storage): remembers whether you picked the light or dark look.
• The 30-day guide (ytw_guide_v1, local storage): remembers which day of the guide you are on, if you start it.
• The quit-day picker (ytw_quit_day, local storage): remembers the quit day you chose, if you pick one.
• Practice sign-in (a cookie beginning sb-): set only for Elena when she signs in to her dashboard. Visitors never receive it.

None of these are sent to anyone for advertising or analytics, and none follow you to other websites.

3. Google Maps

The office map on the contact page is loaded from Google Maps. When it loads, Google may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. If you'd rather avoid that, skip the map: the address is 4325 Dick Pond Road, Suite C, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588.

4. Turning them off

You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser's settings at any time. The site still works without them; it just won't remember your display setting or your place in the guide.
